Over the years, we have built lasting relationships with ‘The Koidu School for the Blind’ and ‘The Vocational Training Center for the Blind’ in respectively Koidu Town and Kenema. Together with the coordinators in charge, Mr. Tamba and Mr. Sowa, we inventoried their most urgent needs. In addition to physical disability specific materials (such as braille typewriters, TV magnifiers, tandems, white sticks), these schools are since January 2017 also equipped with solar panels, thanks to the support of the Energy Assistance association.
